Purple Introspections

A vibe. That’s how I operate. I get a gut-feeling or spidey-feel and I know I’m on to something. It’s the spidey-feel that give me the answers, or to lets me know I’m on the right track. The gut feeling is more of a warning.

Tingles up my arm, hair standing on end is my cue. I like to think it’s the spirit world or magical force at work to give us humans an inside take.  This is normal to me but what I didn’t know is how it would lead to really getting in tune with others or a life-happening. I didn’t know it was the beginning of me taking note of messages from nature or God or whatever you want to call it.

What are the chances? Thank my lucky stars? Great questions and it’s the right idea, IMHO.

When we lost our son to suicide, it was an opening to a portal I had no idea was available to me. We were crushed at his departure but within 24 hours, he started communicating with me via vibes and visions in my sleep. As time went on, we, and I say we because his dad and I started conferring about what we were feeling and seeing and trying to decipher the message.

What we both get from our son is visions of vibrant purple, his favorite color. When a person closes their eyes, they see black.

For me, swirls and streaks of neon purple clouds fill my head as I’m breaking out of my sleep. It’s beautiful and calming. Call me crazy, but I believe it’s my son letting me know he’s thinking of us, his parents, sending love the only way he can from his new home in heaven.

Our son took his life in September, a shocking and devastating event.  We were literally shaken, stunned, and at a loss for words. We cried and cried every time we made a call to let our friends and family know what happened.

Almost immediately, both his dad and me were getting visions of vibrant purple, our son’s favorite color. We take comfort in those visits because it’s all we have left, the closest thing to having him sit with us on the couch watching tv. It’s almost always early morning when we are just gaining consciousness. We can’t help but feel blessed, our hearts warm.

Our son from day one was always a thoughtful soul and he continues to be that way. Although he couldn’t seem to treat himself with the same kindness and concern, he believes his parents deserve his attention however he can deliver. We’re using this as inspiration to tell our story, our thoughts, our introspections.

What better way to share those introspections than with the color purple, in a hopeful and helpful light, just like our boy.

With love,
Francie

Your open heart is allowing you to see and feel beyond the known. Blessings from Alexander. I will share my story. My dad was a playful person and had a great sense of humor. After he died I dreamed that the phone rang and when I answered it all I heard was the sound of two finger snaps and a slap on the top of the hand. This is a familiar sound because he used to entertain us with that quick rhythm when we were small. When I heard it again I knew that he was okay and he wanted me to know that he was okay.

I love this! I think we get visits more than people let on because it sounds crazy. I’m learning it’s not that way at all. The connection brings such healing and comfort.💜💜💜
