The Universe Is Talking

My phone locked up. I was trying to delete a podcast from my library.  I scrolled up and down looking for a delete option when an episode caught my eye, The Consciousness of Creativity: Are Ideas Alive And Do They Choose Us?

Wait a minute, I think I’d like to listen to that one.

The creative episode talked about how ideas are out there, searching for a receptor.

Is my receptor open anymore? I’ve been stagnating lately. Wanting to write, but what do I have to say? I’m feeling nothing. But this episode was inspiring.

DING, DING, DING

Eventually, I made the connection. Our rascally son grabbed my attention by freezing up my phone. I’m still stuck in the logical world despite the illogical happenings we’ve experienced. He’s rolling his eyes, I’m sure. Will she ever learn?!?

He had more to say than inspiring me to write.

Boy oh boy, I could not stop listening to the entire second season of The Telepathy Tapes, just as he’d hoped.

I gained a better understanding of his world. He made it pretty obvious. I’m already a believer, but if you are the curiously spiritual, scientific sort, this podcast is enlightening. In short, in one episode, it talks about the afterlife and its ability to stay connected to loved ones left behind. Of particular note to me, a neurologist, Dr. Alexander (I can’t make this up!) talks about his Near Death Experience (NDE.) Beautiful, loving, and peaceful. Alas, he was sent back to tell us about it and became a believer of the spiritual world, or rather, that there is more beyond planet earth. Oddly, he felt more alive “there” than “here.”

I think of Alexander (I wonder why?) and believe he is very happy “there,” but he’s doing his best to keep us happy and protected “here.” In the simplest of terms, I suppose it’s heaven vs earth. Interestingly, in all my recollections on this journey, beyond us as humans, there is a spirit that cannot be broken into parts, molecules, and all that chemistry/quantum physics stuff that is too heady for me. Dare we call it love?

In another episode, communicating with the other side, confirmed our experiences, but took it next level. The medium Laura Lynn Jackson, the author of the book Signs, which I have mentioned, was first vetted by The Forever Family Foundation. The founders, a husband-wife team, Bob and PHRAN (Frances) (God, he’s crafty.), had a daughter who passed and they wanted to talk to her. A lot of quacks take advantage of the vulnerable left behind, pretending to reach the other side, so they figured out a way to ensure the medium was the real deal.

The medium episode provides validation through scientific accounts and human stories. Using electronic gizmos, scientists tracked mediums’ brain activity to the area called the godspot. So named because whenever anyone suffers injury to this area, the person becomes more compassionate, aka, loving.

Mic drop.

I knew a lot of this stuff, non-scientifically speaking, but sometimes it’s good to hear another perspective. I lose faith when I haven’t heard from Alexander, wondering if some of it was real. I think he was putting his stamp on his existence through Dr. Alexander and the mom named Phran. Coincidence? I don’t know. That’s a little too coincidental. And since listening to this podcast, I’ve seen a zillion Challengers in every color, heard Three Little Birds while shopping at Lululemon, and received warming crown tingles just because, all to let me know he’s around, A LOT!!! It’s real. He’s encouraging me to share my thoughts and feelings with others in a medium I enjoy, writing. And, maybe, it’s a nudge to broadcast to the grieving or lonely to open their eyes: You are loved!

Where have I heard this before?

We are circling back to post number one of Purple Introspections. You are loved. We are love. And we stay “love” to infinity…and IMHO the point of the movie Interstellar,* the point it skimmed. Love is forever, the one thing not even science can dissect; it’s too strong, impermeable. And it’s through this love, or spirit, that we stay connected to Alexander, via jammed cell phones, unexplained pop-up songs or pop-up Challengers in Army Green with Captain America insignias to show me he’s looking after TJ, the soldier. (TJ wore a Captain America t-shirt for years.) What a coincidence! I’m kidding. It’s too specific.

The message we hoped to convey from the beginning of our journey, the one we think Alexander is forever shouting from the heavens, as noted on a purple heart tag from his celebration of life:

YOU ARE LOVED. -A

*Our minister suggested the film Interstellar, I think, to help us cope. I didn’t like it, but I think it’s because it was all action and light on message. (IMHO)

P.S. The entire second season of The Telepathy Tapes is worth a listen. It covers so much more than I can write in one post.

I’ve heard interviews of people who were in horrific accidents and “clinically died”. Were taken up to heaven, saw what was in the “other side” of eternity,a place w/o time constraints. Then their spirit returns to earth with the person having a profound experience and message of the hope of heaven. That our loved ones are waiting there,to carry that feeling of loss, to a feeling of hope.
